About Laborcasting

LaborCasting is a media-sharing community to support worker issues
worldwide. It got started out of a sense of frustration. Mainstream
media and cable networks are giving the protests in Wisconsin, Ohio,
Indiana, and other states very little coverage. But people are hitting
the streets and fighting for their rights. They're asking, "What do we
do? How can we help? What is next?"

Events are happening even if the media is not covering them. Listen to
the songs people are writing, watch the local videos, see John Stewart
rants, the shoutouts at the Academy Awards and more. The movement
deserves to be heard.

That's why this community was created. The site curators welcome your
video and media contributions.
